More High Culture - Fashion & Auction

met-qtr-1.jpg auction-1.jpg

It was a hectic evening last Thursday. After taking in Ben Zuhlcke's 'GAME' viewing at 34 Slater St, we popped into the Met Qtr as there was a special evening fashion show thing going on. Good to see a large crowd there, some were even buying stuff.

But we saved our money for the Art Auction at the Cornerstone later on. Got there just as Dr Paul O'Keeffe started proceedings. The auction was to raise funds for a catalogue for this year's Degree Show. It was good fun and apparently it was a great success. Every artwork sold including the 2 Jason Jones paintings you can see on the extreme left of the photo which will eventually adorn the walls of Jackson Towers.

Comments

Thank you so much for the review of our Auction! I was one of the two organisers, and can safely say we are both overwhelmed by the success and response from the auction! So we would just like to say a big thank you to you for all your support and we look forward to seeing you at our Degree Show private view on May 25th at the Cornerstone 5-8pm!
