Performance Programme Manager

Salary circa £24k 35 hours per week

We are seeking an individual with a real passion for live performance and a commitment to developing audiences. Contributing to Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008, this new post will play an important part in launching Bluecoat Arts Centre’s new programme later this year following our £12m capital development.

You will plan and deliver a diverse and distinctive programme of music, including jazz and folk, contemporary dance and other live events in our prestigious new facility, working with regional, UK and international artists and a range of partners.

Educated to degree level, you will possess an in depth performing arts knowledge, and have at least two years’ experience of innovative programming. Experience of managing budgets and writing funding applications, good communication skills, an ability to prioritise workloads and work flexibly as part of a team, are essential.
