Drawing Based Collage Workshop For Adults: Five places left
Wednesday 27th February 13-15.00
With Artist Sarah Robinson
Explore the possibilities of working in collage, whatever your level of experience. Allow yourself to relax, to experiment, and to take chances; collage can often prove to be a valuable catalyst for change in your work.
With particular reference to selected equine images by George Stubbs, and the paper cutouts of Henry Matisse, this workshop will allow participants to create their own unique collage, and to work in the style of their choice.
A quantity of discarded horse lithographs on newsprint, from the Faulty Dissection project, will be available for use. Participants should also bring along a selection of interesting papers or their own discarded artwork etc. (max of 12 participants)
To compliment our current exhibition: A Faulty Dissection, The Bridewell Studios is running two workshops that will allow members of the public to respond creatively to the artwork in the exhibition. The workshops will be free and refreshments will be provided.
