World-famous photographer Rankin – who has previously worked with supermodel Kate Moss and local celebrities including: actor Ian Hart, Sugarbabe Heidi Range, Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm and Sex in the City’s Kim Cattrall – will select the lucky participants for their unique style life stories or captivating personalities, to represent a portrait of Britain.

Following a day in Manchester on the 15th, Rankin will be shooting in Liverpool on Thursday 16th July, setting up a temporary studio in the World Museum, Liverpool for one day only before heading back to London where the portraits will be displayed as part of the ever changing exhibition in Truman Brewery from 31st July – 18th September 2009.  The exhibition in London will grow organically and immediately as Rankin captures more faces from across the country on a daily basis.
