Claire to lead city culture after 08 – Liverpool Echo.co.uk.

THE woman who will lead Liverpool’s culture programme after 2008 has been named.

Claire McColgan will take on the role in early 2009 leading a team of around 25 people to deliver the council’s cultural programme.

The 38-year-old is currently executive producer for Liverpool Culture Company.

She has been a key figure in the city’s successful Capital of Culture bid since 2000.
