Liverpool Live 06 - A festival of urban apparition

Call for Participants – 26-29 October 2006
1 day workshop, 3 days sited performance

As part of Liverpool Live, the Hamburg group LIGNA have been invited to make a site radio intervention piece for Liverpool City Centre. They are seeking a group of 15-20 participants to work with them on the development of the piece.

The key requirements for the project are an interest in collaborating in a performance research laboratory and a willingness to perform in a series of City Centre interventions. The project will take the form of a scientific field study into everyday street behaviour and participants will function as the researchers. Performance gestures and choreographies will be adaptations of and deviations from everyday gestures.
