5 respondents said that they are in support of this proposal.
4 of those supporting the idea are willing to email the Liverpool Biennial Independents Board to support this idea.
4 respondents said that they are not in support of this proposal.
1 person was not sure if they supported the proposal.

Comments written were:

“Great idea, but I’m not an artist submitting work

“I think this proposal is unnecessary and pointless, I don’t consider such filming as ‘artwork’ and wouldn’t appreciate it being shown as such as part of the Independents Liverpool Biennial 2006.

“I hope it wouldn’t make the selectors feel self-conscious and hold back. But then again, eavesdroppers can’t be offended by what they overhear. I do think it is a good idea but how to approach this issue?

“Bad idea!

“This process would probably not work as transparent in the way you suggest.

“Sounds quite dull and irrelevant. What’s the slant? It’s not transparent who cares. A process had to put together and whether it is transparent or not it is what ACE could support. What is more interesting is whether the person in post does a good job / all the required elements of the post.
