Biennial: The Innovasion – Alternate Reality Game

Hoping some of you sign up and tell us what it’s all about!

The Innovasion – Alternate Reality Game

9 October, 10.00–22.00 / £5

Something is wrong at the Liverpool Biennial. Suspicious signs and mysterious codes appear from nowhere, and a sinister conspiracy is lurking in the shadows. But the good thing is: You can be part of it! Immerse yourself in a new world, find the trail, unravel the mystery, break the codes and help save the world. Your creativity is under threat. This is only the beginning.

An alternate reality game (ARG) is an interactive narrative that uses the real world as a platform. The game takes the form of a treasure hunt and the outcome of the game can be influenced by the imagination and the perseverance of the participants.

You may have heard of Alternate Reality Games from T.V. programmes such as Lost and Heroes or the Nine Inch Nails ‘Year Zero’ album. With ‘The Innovasion’ strange events and performances will be taking place throughout Liverpool on the day. Come and join the resistance, be part of the movement which will culminate in a deadly ‘finale’ somewhere in the city.  The game starts online, but we recommend you be in Liverpool on the 9th October from 10am-10pm. Don’t worry you don’t find the game, the game finds you.
