We are currently recruiting for an Arts Coordinator to develop and deliver an inspirational and varied arts programme (performing, creative, visual) for Crisis Skylight Merseyside members and to plan, coordinate and administer a programme of arts classes and one off creative opportunities that enable Skylight members to build their confidence and self esteem, develop their creativity, gain accreditations and have the opportunity to display and perform their work. This will include both building based and outreach opportunities.In this role you will plan and coordinate a programme of arts classes and one-off creative projects that will enable homeless and vulnerably housed people to develop their skills, confidence and self esteem whilst gaining qualifications where relevant.

The Arts Coordinator will manage and support Skylight / Sessional Tutors, project partners and freelance artists in delivering the programme as well as delivering a class in their own specialism. You will have knowledge and understanding of how to develop a high quality and varied arts programme and have experience of engaging vulnerable, disengaged or hard to reach adults in arts activities, including some with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
