Michael Butchard, Artist.
Etching, drawing, watercolour & acrylic.
Michael is a self-taught artist but has studied etching at the Blue Coat Etching Studio, Liverpool and
was a member of the respected Liver Sketching Club when it was based in the Blue Coat Studios.
Exhibited at the Williamson Art Gallery on four occasions from 1987 to 1990 for the Wirral Spring Art
Exhibition with 10 works on show.
Also; The Ayling Porteous Gallery, Chester and The Liver Sketching Club Summer Exhibitions.
This is his first exhibition at The Liverpool Art Cafe.
He was awarded the Lever Brothers Purchase Prize 1988 and has works in permanent collections at Unilever.
Sandra Cooper renowned colourist has become famous for her flower paintings, a small selection are now on display at the Liverpool Art Cafe.
