Arts Council England is the national development agency, championing, developing and investing in the arts and culture across England.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and well organised individual with strong administrative, interpersonal and communication skills. Your role will involve providing full administrative support to the advocacy and communications function, based in Manchester but with the opportunity to work collaboratively across areas and nationally.

Your remit will include co-ordinating internal and external meetings, collating information, data entry and running administrative support systems. You will need to have good written and verbal communications skills and will be proficient in the use of information technology and social media programmes. You will have an enthusiastic and pro-active attitude with the confidence and ability to learn quickly. You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.

This is a role most suitable to those at the beginning of their career. We will provide a stimulating and fast paced work environment which will be complemented by your training in arts administration and marketing at Manchester College, leading to a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. Graduates need not apply.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who can juggle multiple priorities and exercise effective judgement when managing conflicting tasks.
