A New local website launches on Thursday November 16th with a great gig at The Masque.
Acid Mothers Temple (Japanese Space Rock), Apatt and The Immigrants all feature.
The website is called Cult Cargo:
Cult Cargo is an on-line music magazine that seeks to innovate and reflect all that is exciting musically and culturally.
Daily updated site will launch on 16th November!
Named after cults that worshipped abandoned cargo, Cult Cargo will highlight, complement and create music that deserves to be idolised. It is based in the North West but with a view that music is the only universal language that can make your feet think and your brain dance. We will be providing weekly interviews with artists you know, artists you should know and artists you’ll want to know. There will be regular articles on forgotten gems, a daily update on what is happening that matters and informed gossip alongside ill informed ranting. It will cover pockets of energy and creation all around the world and will make you feel like you’ve been there in your drunken stupors. All this alongside unique creations from established and exciting new musicians working with video artists, photographers, cartoonists, graphic artists exclusively for Cult Cargo.
