Born in Liverpool. Ian studied Music at The Liverpool College of Music, in the early 1990’s and played in various bands around Liverpool. Disillusioned with the music business, Ian moved to the bright lights of London. He studied photography at Brick Lane College in 1999.
In 2004, Ian decided to base his photography projects on his travels around the world. His recent projects: Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Italy, Morocco, Spain and Richmond – London. Ian’s current project is based in China. His next project will be based on his home town of Liverpool. In 2007, Ian had one of his photographs exhibited in The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Also his photographs have been published in JPG Magazine and The Jersey Press. On the 22nd Aug 2008, Ian was asked to take photographs for CNN News International. |
