Photoblog: Liverpool Discovers Trail

Sounding Out Liverpool. Photos c. Minako Jackson

Yesterday we spent a couple of hours going round some but not all of the Liverpool Discovers Trail.

I like these things that encourage us to get out and take a look not just at the actual installations but also the surrounding areas. In particular it was nice to go to Coburg Wharf to see Fish & Ships, I think I’ve only been to that part of the waterfront once before.

We also saw thousands of snowdrops in St James Garden, young seagulls near the docks, families trying to operate Heaven and Earth at the Pier Head and very interesting architecture around St Nicks that we hadn’t noticed before. It was a cold and dull afternoon but we still had a really enjoyable and tiring time.
