Description

Dealing with Bullying:

School’s Out: Oldham Project – call for artists

The project is aimed at children aged 9 – 15 and their parents/carers, and possibly their social workers. The aim is to create a book dealing with the experience of bullying and ways of coping with it.

There will be 4 sessions each lasting 4 hours. The sessions will take place in Oldham in July & August 2012, dates tbc. A different group of 20 – 30 participants will attend each session.

The session will end with readings of some of the written work.

The collated writings resulting from the four sessions will be edited and published by Equality and Diversity UK Ltd and Alpha Plus fostering agency who have commissioned the project.

The sessions will be organised and run by Alyson Malach of Equality & Diversity UK Ltd in Bury.
