100shirts Website Unavailable at Present

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE - Re: VOTING ONLINE
Unfortunately the p-ornithology and 100Shirts website is down due to problems with the extra bandwidth caused by the online voting. The website itself is hosted by an external server/ company and so there are set limits as to the bandwith (usage) we are able to push through our website.
The online voting has been far more successful than we estimated and this has caused us big problems! There have been over 50,000 votes pushed through as so this has put too much strain on the external server/ company as too much of the bandwith - to be shared by a number of websites - is actually being used up by our website alone.
In order for them to prevent other websites from suffering, they have had to shut down our website until we rectify the problem - Which, as aforementioned, is the massive number of votes we have recieved!! A good problem to have really!
To this end, I am sorry to say that we will have to ask you all to chill a bit with the voting!
If you would like to vote for a design (and we hope you do) then please do vote - but just the once! I have been encouraging people to vote-vote-vote as obviously, the more votes the merrier but I'm afraid we did not by any means think the website would be so very popular and I certainly did not know we'd have a problem sustaining high volumes of hits.
Please remember, the online voting will not - in any way - effect the judging panel's decision for the winners of the 3 prizes as these will be chosen during the exhibition itself.
The online voting is simply for fun and promotion of your designs.
The external server company will switch back on our website once we have the issues under control - They will, however, suspend and remove our website permanently should be continue to misuse the website. So please, do help us in this matter and spread the word to all your friends and family members - Only vote once please!!
We would really appreciate your co-operation in this matter - The p-ornithology and the 100Shirts website is a vital part of this project and remains a vital resource to getting your designs out to the UK public.
